HR Works is partnering with our client, a manufacturing company in Rochester, NY, with its search for a Corporate Human Resources Director.

This role serves as a true HR Business Partner, helping to grow the company through strategic leadership, and lead the HR team, through hands-on support and mentorship. This role is fully on-site and has a compensation range of $115,000-$120,000.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

• 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• 7 years of strong HR Generalist experience is required.; the ability to serve as a strategic human resources partner with direct experience in benefits administration, program & process development, HRIS, recruitment, talent management, and compliance.
• The ability to work hands-on in all areas of HR and lead the HR team through subject matter expertise.
• A proven history of successfully mentoring a team to continued success. 3 years of leading an HR team is required.
• At least 2 years of experience leading all HR functions for a mid-size (300 ) company is required.
• Experience working as a business partner, supporting the strategic growth of an organization.
• A metric-minded approach to HR, utilizing metrics to create the business case for HR programs.
• 3 years of multi-state HR experience is preferred.
• Experience with a unionized environment is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including extensive Excel experience.
• ADP experience is preferred.
• A bachelor s degree in human resources or a related field is required; a master s degree is preferred.
• A PHR/SHRM Certification is preferred.
